Review: Maggie Jones, Kensington, London

We've been on a bit of a doggy loving trip ever since we discovered Outsider Tart. So last weekend we decided to do some more exploration, and chanced upon Maggie Jones, in Kensington. Tucked away, just off the high street, it's very easy to miss. But it's been around for over 40 years I hear, so all the locals probably already know about it!

Review: Outsider Tart, Chiswick, London

Isn't Chiswick just brilliant? Great new joints opening up all the time, lovely homes, exciting auction houses - makes me happy. Today we discovered Outsider Tart, just my kind of café. Sumptuous portions of tasty food, relaxed setting, and wait for it...a Barkery!! Anyone that loves my dog, I love. And any place that does pies and cakes and brownies that look good enough to gobble in one giant gobble, I love even more.

Review: The Brockley Mess, Brockley, London

When I first accepted an offer to work in Lewisham, I wasn't at all sure about it. But having been here close to 6 months now, I can say at least this for it - there are quite a few interesting lunch options not very far away! My colleague persuaded me to join her at The Brockley Mess one afternoon, and every week we managed to rope in more people from the team, and very soon this became quite a favourite.
